The trustees of Hope Presbyterian Church oversee and coordinate the care of the buildings and grounds. They interface with the elder responsible for Property Planning Management, who serves as their liaison to the session.
The individual trustees have specific building and grounds maintenance responsibilities. There is a suggestion box in the lobby so that any church members becoming aware of a situation that needs attention can note it. Trustees attend regular quarterly meetings, rotate responsibilities as on-call Trustee of the Month, and monitor the church calendar for special services and outside meetings being held. They coordinate two church-wide cleanup days, one in the fall and one in the spring for both indoor and outdoor projects. They are in charge of purchasing renewable supplies, and work with church budget allocations covering capital expenditures. They also elect a trustee to serve on the church nominating committee each year.
Hope has been blessed with simple yet beautiful facilities and grounds, and through the work of the trustees and the entire congregation we remain committed to being good stewards of our facilities
