Shepherd’s Cove in the shelter for women and children in Prince Georges County and it falls under the umbrella of UCAP. It is located in Capitol Heights, which is right in our community. It is a 100 bed emergency facility that provides a clean and safe environment for women and children who have been displaced and are in need of transitional housing.
If you remember, last year, through your generous giving, we were able to provide comforters for two dorms in this facility. This year, the immediate need is for infant supplies.

If you would like to make a cash donation, indicate that on your offering envelope. We would like to collect items and cash during the next two weeks and make our delivery to Shepherds Cove during the week of October 27th.
